SWEET LIBERTY
This foundation pieced wall hanging is quick and easy. It is a great exercise for beginning paper piecers. It was designed out of a need to remember 9/11. It has taken on greater meaning since my husband has been deployed to Iraq. Celebrate your patriotism with this cute and compact wall hanging. It measures 7 ½”x14”.
GODDESS OF LIGHT
This quick and easy pieced quilt can be done in absolutely so many color combinations! It utilizes one color and one zinger contrast. There are four size options on the pattern ranging from queen to crib. The twin and crib sizes have no border. Play with color, value, and contrast and end up with a beautiful quilt in no time!
SCRAP BAG
This big, easy bag is great for totin' all your supplies to class or all of your finished projects to Show-n-Tell! It even holds a 24” mat!! You can pick a color scheme, go completely scrappy or use a panel that you like. You quilt as you go and finish in nothing flat. The straps go all the way to the bottom of the bag for strength. I wish I had designed it while my kids were still small…I could have carried a few of them in it!
DOT, DOT, DASH
This scrappy, raggedy quilt was designed as a tribute to my friend Dorothy (Mama Dot) - she hated being called Dot! You can make this cuddly and fun quilt in two sizes. Smaller is 64”x80”. Bigger is 88”x104”. The piecing and cutting are no stress - raw edge and freehand circles. It doesn't get any easier than that! This quilt is great in summer colors, Christmas colors, the dark and dirties, brights, or anything you can imagine! Pull out your stash and get creative!
CROOKED CABINS
These foundation pieced chickadee condos are easy to make in four sizes. The City is 43”x52”, the Town is 30”x45”, the Village is 23”x36” and the Street is 14 ½”x52”. The wonky angles take the stress out of paper piecing. Have fun playing with color and enjoy “clean” bird watching. There will be no bird debris to clean up around these houses!
POLE PINES
I call them trees - my Dad sees electric poles…. Whatever you see, these wonky trees are fun to make and spectacular in so many different color schemes! There are three sizes given in the pattern - Little (22”x44”), Big 32”x41”) and Bigger (44”x56”). Practice your value skills to effectively frame and set off these foundation pieced trees.
TALL PINES
These foundation pieced trees are fun and simple to make. The pattern includes three sizes for the Banner - Single (32”x25“) , Door (32”x77”), or Cover the Bed (90“x93“). The Single makes a great wall hanging for transitioning through the seasons. You could specialize the Door Banner for the winter holidays - or for the summer holidays! Imagine wrapping yourself in the majesty and tranquility of the Cover the Bed Banner in your favorite color scheme!
COCKTAILS WITH VAL
Val finally accepted the offer from the guy in 3B to go for cocktails. Whatever will she wear? Help her out by foundation piecing one, several, or a whole closet full to choose from. The pattern gives directions for Single (18”x20”), Row (42”x20”) and Closet (34”x40”) size wall hangings. Don't stop with just piecing them - you can embellish and frou-frou them to your heart's content!
PEPTO PINES
These foundation pieced trees are a little more “regular” than my normal fare…hence the name. They are also pink - that didn't hurt either! There are directions for three sizes in this wall hanging pattern. You can make a Solitary (30”x30”), a Stack (30”x66”), or a Stand (48”x66”) of Pepto Pines. Dig out that fabulous print that you have been afraid to cut up. Highlight it with some Pepto Pines and you'll have a show-stopper!

The print fabrics in this quilt are all designed by Pepper Cory. Pepper was kind enough to send me fabrics to play with & I just needed one solid green to complete the assortment. While organizing clothing for a garage sale, I saw the perfect green hanging right in front of me! The too-small silk shirt would bring a whopping $.25 at the sale - no sacrifice is too large a quilt!
Low-Slung I Can Live With
Low-slung tote for fashion conscious Mommas
In order to elevate my status from dork to hip, I have been searching for a way to incorporate low-slung into my life. I have been unsuccessful via garments, so I have looked to accessories to achieve my goal.
My skinny little daughters wear these low-slung pants that barely reach their hips, let alone offer any additional coverage. I have had some difficulty locating stylish garments that will cover my ample figure. Pants that don't insist on a career change (sorry, plumbers!) are very difficult to find. I need coverage and will not sacrifice my dignity for fashion. In response to being "square", I have come up with something low-slung that I can live with - my new tote! Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!
Tree-O
29 1/2" x 35" This fun wallhanging uses the wonky shapes of my earlier pine trees, but no foundation piecing. Using raggy edge applique, you can create this trio of trees in no time at all!
